These ether-free, biocompatible, and biostable elastomers exhibit low elasticity along with outstanding solvent and chemical resistance. Currently utilized in diverse applications, including long-term implants, indwelling catheters, dialysis catheters, and orthopedic devices like hip and knee joints, they offer solvent resistance, flexibility, and biodurability. Additionally, these polyurethanes are available in transparent materials and can undergo processing through extrusion or injection molding. Customization options include the addition of developers, coloring agents, and antibacterial elements.
